Deviation (nasal<\/b> septum deviation)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

It is a physical disorder of the nose, involving a displacement (curvature) of the nasal septum. A deviated septum is an abnormal condition in which the top of the cartilaginous ridge leans to the left or the right, causing obstruction of the affected nasal passage. It simply clogs the airway and can result in poor drainage of the sinuses. Both curvature and trouble breathing can be corrected by surgery. The word deviation meaning curvature does not exactly state the surgical intervention. Therefore, surgical correction of the nose curvature is defined as “Nasal Septum Deviation” in medical language. A deviated septum brings\u00a0 <\/span>many problems with it such as nasal congestion and headaches. Snoring, fatigue, difficulty smelling, nasal dryness, crusting or bleeding, halitosis, postnasal drip and nasal shape disorders are among the most common complaints.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Deviation operation is completed within 1 hour maximum. It can be done under local or general anesthesia. The patient was discharged the same day after surgery.
