Long Distance / Virtual Consultations / ZOOM Consultations

At our practice, we understand that it can be difficult for patients to travel long distances for a consultation and then again for surgery. To make the process more convenient, we have created a program to help you understand and explore your options. Here’s how it works:

Make Contact

To get started, the first step is to reach out to us through text, call, or email. If you are interested in a consultation via Zoom, please contact Bridie, our patient coordinator, directly so that she can schedule a time for you to speak with Dr. Göksel.

Send Your Photos

For patients who are located at a distance from our practice, we ask that you provide clear, recent close-up photos of the area of concern. These photos should be emailed to info@drgoksel.com, along with a list of all concerns you would like addressed and any information about previous facial surgery. You can also contact Miss Bridie via WhatsApp at +90 544 302 69 88 for assistance with this process.

Obtain an Assessment

After sending in your photos and information, you will be contacted by our patient coordinator who will discuss the details of your pre-operative care, costs, recovery, local accommodations, and any other questions related to your procedure(s). Dr. Göksel will review your case and determine if you are a good candidate for the procedures you are interested in during an online consultation.

Schedule Your Procedure

Once you have decided to proceed and accepted by the doctor, a deposit is required to reserve your surgery date. If surgery is cancelled by the patient 2 weeks prior to surgery date, 50% of the downpayment will be deducted and refunded.

You MUST arrive one to two days prior to your surgery date. At a designated time during this period, you will meet with the doctor/s and have an in-depth consultation discussing all procedures. At this time you will sign your surgery consents (if necessary) – in the presence of your patient care coordinator.

Recovery

Patients are required to spend minimum 7 days in Istanbul, Turkey after surgery. You are good to fly 1 week after surgery. On the 3rd day you will have a dressing of the nose in the clinic and on the 7th day your cast will come off and another dressing.
